Modest Urgell i Inglada (1839–1919) was a Catalan painter known for his atmospheric landscapes and genre scenes. Born in Barcelona, Urgell studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid before traveling extensively throughout Europe.
