Maxim Zlobin is a Prague-based graphic designer whose work is shaped by a fascination with vintage film posters, classic video game artwork, and the bold visual language of retro advertising. Combining typography-led design with a minimalist approach, he creates posters that balance nostalgia and contemporary graphic expression.
Influenced by print culture from the 1990s and early 2000s, his work reimagines familiar references through clean compositions, expressive type, and a strong sense of atmosphere. Each piece begins with research and visual exploration, transforming cultural influences into bold and distinctive graphic forms.
Through his work, Maxim explores the relationship between memory and design, creating pieces that feel familiar. His posters aim to capture the character of the visual culture that inspires him while offering a fresh perspective through typography, composition, and storytelling.
