1880—1916

Franz Marc was a seminal figure in German Expressionism, co-founding the avant-garde "Der Blaue Reiter" (The Blue Rider) group. Nevertheless, Marc's visionary works continue to inspire, representing a profound bridge between natural motifs and abstract art.
