Utagawa Toyokuni
1769—1825Utagawa Toyokuni was a prominent Japanese ukiyo-e artist and printmaker of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Renowned for his bijin-ga (images of beautiful women) and kabuki actor prints, Toyokuni was a central figure in the Utagawa school of ukiyo-e.
