Yamamoto Shoun

Yamamoto Shoun (1870–1965) was a Japanese artist renowned for his contributions to woodblock printing, painting, and illustration. Born in Kōchi Prefecture, he trained in traditional Kanō and Nanga painting styles before moving to Tokyo, where he worked as an illustrator for Fugoku gaho, a pictorial magazine.
