Max Beckmann

Max Beckmann was a German painter, printmaker, and sculptor associated with the Expressionist movement. Born in Leipzig, Beckmann studied at the Weimar Academy of Fine Arts and later became associated with the Neue Sachlichkeit (New Objectivity) movement.
