About the artist
Paul Gauguin (1848–1903) was a French Post-Impressionist painter celebrated for his distinctive use of color and innovative approach to art. His journey from a successful Parisian stockbroker to a pioneering artist led him to seek inspiration in Tahiti and other exotic locales. Gauguin's works, including "Tahitian Women on the Beach" and "Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?", often fused symbolism with vivid colors, reflecting his quest for spiritual and artistic authenticity.
