About the artist
dolorsilentium is a Finnish designer and photographer whose work drifts between nostalgia, digital art, and alternative culture. On Instagram, he’s best known for creating dark, lofi, retro-anime inspired pieces with the help of generative AI. His images carry the hazy atmosphere of old media—grainy textures, muted tones, and a dreamlike sense of distance—yet they’re built with modern tools.
Blending anime, design, photo manipulation, and AI, dolorsilentium reimagines the aesthetics of the past while keeping a foot firmly in the present. His work resonates with anyone who grew up on VHS fuzz, late-night anime, or the quiet weight of forgotten corners of the internet.
