Artist
55 Cityscape
55 is a Hong Kong-based visual artist specializing in high-concept cityscape and night photography. His lens distills the raw vitality of the urban night into timeless imagery, bridging the gap between reality and cinema. Drawing profound inspiration from the moody, neon-drenched cinema of Wong Kar-wai, 55 treats the midnight city not just as a setting, but as a living, breathing protagonist. His work explores the delicate tension between urban isolation and collective energy. By manipulating light, shadow, and deep atmospheric tones, he transforms familiar architectural vistas into psychological landscapes filled with romance, mystery, and nostalgia.
