Alix Campbell
Alix Campbell is an artist and illustrator from Austria living in the Western Algarve in Portugal. In 2020, inspired by Andy Warhol’s famous Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup design, she founded her art brand ‘designsoup by alix’ and started creating and designing for the areas of home décor (art prints), lifestyle (tote bags), tech (phone & laptop covers), stationery (notebooks), and more. She works digitally in Procreate and Illustrator, but also loves playing with gouache and ink on paper. Her vivid colour palette is influenced by all the different blues of the ocean and the sun-kissed landscape of the place she calls home. Alix also draws inspiration from her travels as well as her two black cats, who show up often in her work. Teenage Alix’ works were heavily influenced by artists like Vincent van Gogh and Keith Haring, who planted the seeds of her love for bold colours breathing life into her naïve and playful style.
