Nathaniel Currier

Nathaniel Currier (1813–1888) was an American lithographer, best known for co-founding Currier & Ives, a successful printmaking firm that operated in New York City from 1834 to 1907. Born in Massachusetts, Currier established his lithography business in New York City, initially producing prints of various subjects such as portraits, landscapes, and historical events.
