Shitao

Shitao, also known as Zhu Ruoji, was a renowned Chinese painter, calligrapher, and poet of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. He was one of the most influential artists of his time and a key figure in the development of the Southern School of painting. Shitao's art was characterised by its expressive brushwork, innovative compositions, and mastery of ink wash techniques. He also wrote extensively on art theory and philosophy.
