Xiao Yuncong
1596—1673Xiao Yuncong was a notable Chinese painter and poet of the Ming dynasty. He was associated with the Orthodox School of painting, which emphasised a return to the traditional styles and techniques of the Song and Yuan dynasties. Yuncong's art was characterised by its elegant brushwork, meticulous attention to detail, and mastery of ink wash painting.
