Nakahama Sugakudō was a 19th-century Japanese artist known for ukiyo-e woodblock prints, especially elegant bird-and-flower (kachō-ga) compositions. Working in the Edo period, his style combined delicate realism with the decorative beauty typical of the late ukiyo-e tradition.
